Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., spoke with radio host Lars Larson at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and said that the veto of SB 1062 shows how the LGBT community has "'bullied the American people."

"The gay community, they have so bullied the American people, and they've so intimidated politicians." said Bachmann, "The politicians fear them, so that they think they get to dictate the agenda everywhere. Well not with the constitution, you don't."

Bachmann is not seeking reelection and has been the center of other controversial statements. Other conservatives who made waves at CPAC were Sen.Ted Cruz, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
