PARSONS, Tenn., March 5 (UPI) -- A 29-year-old man was charged with murder and kidnapping in the case of missing nursing student Holly Bobo, authorities announced Wednesday.
Police arrested Zachary Adams and charged him with first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping for the disappearance of the 20-year-old Bobo from her family's Decatur County, Tenn., home in April 2011.
Authorities wouldn't provide information on how Adams and Bobo may have known each other or if they found the woman's body, citing the ongoing investigation.
Less than a week ago, a search warrant was performed at Adams' house, though what was found there wasn't reported."This is too important, this is very, very important. It's taken us three years to get to this point. We can't mess this up now," said Tenn. Bureau of Investigation Director Mark Gwyn.
Bobo was last reported seen by her brother April 13, walking away from her Parsons-area home with a man wearing camouflage.
