Speaking Tuesday on ABC's "The View," Biden disputed co-host Barbara Walters' assertion that he has said he wouldn't run for the White House if the former secretary of state ran, saying Clinton's decision "will not affect my decision."
He told Walters he would announce his decision on "The View" if she remained a host.
Biden teased Seth Meyers about an announcement on his possible presidential plans during Meyers' first appearance as host of NBC's "Late Night."
"Well, you know, I was planning on making a major announcement tonight, but I decided tonight's your night," Biden told Meyers when asked about his 2016 plans. "So I hope you'll invite me back."
Asked about her 2016 plans, Amy Pohler -- who worked with Meyers on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and stars in the network's "Park and Recreation" -- announced, "I'm going to run for president."
Several national polls indicate Clinton, who also hasn't announced her White House plans, has a huge lead over Biden in a hypothetical primary.
