ROCKY MOUNT, N.C., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Police in Rocky Mount, N.C., Tuesday said they were looking for a gunman who wounded four youths playing basketball near a church.
Michael Lyons, 17, Jakavis Whaley, 19, and Antwon Jefferson, 13, were treated and released from Nash General Hospital, the Rocky Mount Telegram reported. Nyreek Horne, 12, was flown to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville and is listed in critical condition.
The newspaper said the youths were playing basketball around 6 p.m. Monday in South Rocky Mount.
Police said the gunman was last seen running toward a light blue small sports utility vehicle.
