Obama says it's time to get immigration reform done

WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- President Obama said during his State of the Union address Tuesday night it's time for the United States to "fix our broken immigration system."

He said it is time to heed business leaders, labor leaders, faith leaders and law enforcement on immigration reform.

"Republicans and Democrats in the Senate have acted," he said. "I know that members of both parties in the House want to do the same.

"So let's get immigration reform done this year.

"Let's get it done. It's time."
