Donald Trump says he worries about Gov. Chris Christie

MANCHESTER, N.H., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Real estate mogul Donald Trump said Tuesday in New Hampshire he is worried about his friend, Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

"He's a good guy, but you know, he's one email away from a disaster," Trump said at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics on the campus of St. Anselm College in Manchester, CNN reported. "It's a very scary situation for Chris, and we'll see how he handles it. At a minimum it's going to be tougher for him because of what happened."

Trump's comments came hours before Christie's second inauguration in Trenton, N.J., a ceremony and celebration overshadowed by controversy and accusations Christie's staff coerced political opponents, including Democratic mayors, in the state.

Although Christie is considered a front-runner for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, Trump predicted the eventual nominee is "going to be somebody that nobody is even thinking about."

Trump spoke at the Institute's "Politics and Eggs" breakfast, which often attracts presidential hopefuls and leading politicians, CNN said, adding he did not address any presidential ambitions of his own.
