Woman, 25, falls to death while posing for picture at cliff in Calif.

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- A 25-year-old Chicago woman fell to her death at San Diego's Sunset Cliffs while posing for a picture, authorities said.

The incident happened Sunday evening at a cliff near Ladera Street and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, KNSD-TV, San Diego, reported.

"All indications are this was just a terrible, tragic accident," San Diego police Lt. Paul Phillips said.

Police said the woman, who was visiting her sister, fell between 40 and 50 feet down the cliff. Bystanders, including two nurses, rushed down the cliff and unsuccessfully tried to revive the woman, police said.
