Authorities said security workers patrolling the parking lot discovered the girl crying in Brown's vehicle at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Anne Arundel County police Lt. T.J. Smith said.

Police officers were called to the scene and discovered that Brown had arrived at the casino at 10 a.m., Smith said. It was unclear whether Brown had checked on the girl at any point in the day.

The girl was brought to a local hospital where she was found to be in good health, although she was cold and hungry, Smith said. There were no signs of physical abuse.
