LINCOLN, Neb., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- An aspiring porn star sentenced on charges of trespassing and public nudity on a Lincoln, Neb., high school football field has appealed.
Valerie Dodds, 19, called Val Midwest on her adult website, was found guilty in May of trespassing and public nudity after her late-night photo shoot at the football field of Lincoln Pius X High School.
She posed with her breasts exposed outside the stadium, lying nude on the field and sitting nude on a bench, the Lincoln Journal Star reported Monday.
On her website she said the stunt was revenge against students, alumni and teachers at the school who were critical when she announced her porn career.
In court Friday, Lancaster County Judge Thomas Fox issued a sentence of 45 days in jail, 30 days for trespassing and 15 for public nudity but Dodds immediately filed a notice of appeal and was released on $75 bond later in the day.
