Rape reported on Atlanta's Emory University campus

ATLANTA, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- An Emory University student claimed she was raped at a campus fraternity house by two fellow students, the Atlanta university confirmed.

The unidentified student told campus police the assault occurred early Sunday morning at the house belonging to Gamma Upsilon chapter of Beta Theta Pi fraternity, and that both suspects were acquaintances, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

Emory spokeswoman Beverly Clark added Emory police and Campus Life officials were investigating the incident, and that the alleged victim has been offered counseling and other school resources.
