WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., is undergoing evaluation and treatment after a recurrence of prostate cancer, a spokesman said Tuesday.

John Hart, the senator's communications director, said he expects Coburn "to be back as soon as he is able, hopefully next week," The Oklahoman reported.
