BUFFALO, N.Y., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used a heckler's yells about Benghazi to teach a lesson in civility during a speech in Buffalo, N.Y.

The heckler was quickly escorted from an auditorium at the University of Buffalo when he interrupted Clinton's speech Wednesday, Politico reported. He continued his shouts on the way out.

"Benghazi, you let them die," he called, according to footage broadcast by WIVB-TV.

Clinton responded to his method, not to his words.

"We have to be willing to come together as citizens to focus on the kind of future we want, which doesn't include yelling, it includes sitting down and talking with one another," Clinton said.

The audience responded with applause.

Clinton, as usual, refused to say whether she will be a candidate for president in 2016. She said she hoped candidates will "kind of isolate the extreme voices and allow the vast majority of American voices to be heard."
