1 killed, 2 injured at shooting near North Memphis, Tenn., church

NORTH MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- One person was killed and two others injured Thursday at a shooting near a North Memphis, Tenn., church, police said.

The shooting occurred near the Greater Community Temple Church in the area of North Dunlap Street and Chelsea Avenue, WMC-TV, Memphis, reported.

The two injured victims were transported to a local hospital.
