Police said the officer, whose name wasn't reported, was driving northbound on Riverside Drive, running his lights and sirens as he headed to a nearby McDonald's on a robbery call, and that the cruiser crashed into the other vehicle, which was driving westbound on Fishinger Road.

Police said they were not sure if the officer had a red or green light at the intersection.
