WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- President Obama visits a Washington-area construction company to discuss the need to pass a budget and raise the debt ceiling Thursday, the White House said.

The daily schedule also indicated Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.
