Watch matching one owned by slain Texas girl found in suspect's home

SAGINAW, Texas, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- A wristwatch matching one belonging to a 6-year-old Texas girl who was raped and killed was found in the home of a teenage suspect, police documents reveal.

After the body of Alanna Gallagher was found in July, a mile from her home in the Fort Worth suburb of Saginaw, a Timex wristwatch like the one she wore was among 100 items taken from the home of a neighbor, Tyler Holder, 17, the documents reveal.

Holder has been charged with capital murder and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday, The Dallas Morning News reported Wednesday.

The documents also state Holder gave a cellphone to a friend after he bought a new one, two days after Alanna's death. The friend told police the old phone contained a search for "Good Kid Porn Websites," and photos of male genitals and of Holder in women's clothing.

Holder has also been charged with the attempted murder of a police officer who he shot during a gunfight with police who came to his house to arrest him, the newspaper said, adding Holder was shot in the head during the encounter.
