Obama schedule for Friday, Aug. 23

WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- President Obama resumes his bus tour in New York and Pennsylvania Friday to discuss his plan to make college education more affordable, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Participate in a town hall event at Binghamton University, part of the State University of New York system.

-- Speak at an event at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa. Vice President Joe Biden also will speak at the event.

-- Return to Washington, ending the two-day bus tour.
