Sen. Jeff Flake stung by scorpion

PHOENIX, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake tweeted early Thursday that he was stung by a scorpion.

Flake, R-Ariz., was stung by the scorpion Wednesday night, Politico reported.

Early Thursday he tweeted, "The perils of living in the desert. This guy stung me today," and included a picture of the scorpion.
