WASHINGTON, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- A U.S. political action committee that raises money for female candidates said it has raised nearly $10 million during the first six months of 2013.
Emily's List federal PAC previously told the Internal Revenue Service it had receipts of $8,740,031, Roll Call reported.
In its latest filing made public by the IRS, Emily's List reported additional contributions raising its total for the first six months of this year to $9,877,033.
Topping its donors list was Judith-Ann Corrente of New York who gave $255,000, M. Quinn Delaney of California who contributed $250,000 and George-Ann Hyams of Atherton, Calif. who donated $204,00 to Emily's List.
Other six-figure donors included Catherine Wright of Ypsilanti, Mich., Jeff Hawkins of Atherton, Calif., and Priorites USA of Washington, D.C..
Wright, Hawkins and Priorities USA each donated $100,000.
Fifty-thousand-dollar donors included Katrina Vanden Heuvel of The Nation Magazine, Ellen Poss of Brookline, Mass., Gladys G. Cofrin of Gainsville, Fla., and Fay Chandler of Brighton, Mass.
