Resort building near Disney World in Florida collapses

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- No injuries were reported after a building at a Lake County resort near Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., collapsed, prompting evacuations, officials said.

About three dozen guests of the Summer Bay Resort in Clermont were evacuated when a resort building began to collapse into the ground Sunday, the Orlando Sentinel reported Monday.

Fire officials said multiple agencies responded to help guests on the third floor escape as the building crumbled.

The Sentinel reported several people said they believed a sinkhole was to blame.

Several dozen guests were relocated by resort staff.
