Beyonce asks for moment of silence for Trayvon Martin

NASHVILLE, July 14 (UPI) -- Beyonce called for a moment of silence for Trayvon Martin toward the end of her Nashville concert after George Zimmerman was cleared of all charges.

Zimmerman's acquittal came just minutes before Beyonce took the stage at Bridgestone Arena, but the pop superstar had made her thoughts known about the case on Friday when she posted #justicefortrayvon on social media, The (Nashville) Tennesseean reported Sunday.
