Body found in tugboat capsized in Mississippi River in Minnesota

DRESBACH, Minn., July 3 (UPI) -- A Wisconsin man was killed Wednesday when the tugboat he was on capsized in the Mississippi River and went over a dam at Dresbach, Minn., authorities said.

The victim, whose body was recovered from the vessel about 3:15 p.m. CDT, was identified as Tyler Trussoni, 22, of Genoa, the La Crosse Tribune reported.

Two other crew members, who also are from Wisconsin but whose names were not released, made it off the Megan McB tugboat and suffered only minor injuries in the 6:15 a.m. CDT mishap, the newspaper said.

Authorities said the tugboat lost power shortly before it capsized. All three men were wearing life jackets, the Tribune said.
