Three charged in Hollywood Walk of Fame stabbing death

HOLLYWOOD, June 21 (UPI) -- Prosecutors have charged three men in the fatal stabbing of a woman who refused to give them money after photographing them on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Christine Calderon, 23, of Lynwood, Calif., was stabbed to death Tuesday evening after she and a friend took pictures of the three transients holding amusing signs. One of the men demanded she pay to take their photos, and when she refused, they allegedly pinned her against a wall and stabbed her, Los Angeles Police Department officials said.
