Palin knocks Obama and says Allah should sort out Syrian war

WASHINGTON, June 16 (UPI) -- Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin criticized President Barack Obama's decision to arm rebels in Syria, and said the United States should "let Allah sort it out."

"Militarily, where is our commander in chief? We're talking now more new interventions ... . I say until we have someone who knows what they're doing, I say let Allah sort it out," Palin said Saturday at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference in Washington, D.C.

Her comments followed a White House announcement that Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime has used chemical weapons and that the Obama administration will provide more direct support to the opposition.

Palin also commented on the recent Internal Revenue Service and National Security Agency scandals, ABC News said.

She warned that the recent incidents are a sign of tyranny in the U.S. government.
