One person killed in medical helicopter crash in Oklahoma

TALIHINA, Okla., June 12 (UPI) -- At least one person was killed late Tuesday when a helicopter on a medical emergency flight crashed at an Oklahoma hospital, Choctaw Nation police said.

KTUL-TV, Tulsa, reported the crash was at Choctaw Nation Hospital in Talihina.

Brandy Griffin, a spokesman for the Choctaw Nation Health Service, told CNN there were four people on board. Three were injured, including one reported to be in critical condition.

The helicopter crashed while landing at the hospital, Griffin said.

The person who was critically injured was evacuated to another hospital.
