Police: Attic bedroom suggests Castro planned another kidnapping

CLEVELAND, June 4 (UPI) -- A third floor bedroom in the Cleveland home in which Ariel Castro allegedly held three women suggests other dark plans by Castro, police said.

WKYC-TV, Cleveland, reported Tuesday police sources said an attic bedroom, off limits to captives Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, was equipped with chains and tie-downs, adding the medical examiner's chief forensic photographer took photos of the room at the prosecutor's request.

Cleveland Safety Director Martin Flask said there is no evidence a fourth person was held captive in the home.

The contents of the attic bedroom suggests Castro may have been planning another abduction, the television station said, but added Castro's lawyers declined to comment on the allegation, saying it was inappropriate for police to disseminate details about the case.
