LOS ANGELES, May 23 (UPI) -- A California man who allegedly donated stolen passes to Disneyland to a charity raffle while claiming to be a Disney relative has been charged with burglary.
Stephen Urquidez has also been charged with possession of a forged driver's license that gave his name as Stephen Disney, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies say the theme park passes Urquidez donated were used in the raffle. But the winner discovered they were useless, kicking off an investigation.
The passes turned out to have been stolen from a store, deputies said.
Urquidez allegedly gave the passes to a woman friend so she could use them for the raffle at an organization where she worked as a volunteer. He not only identified himself as Stephen Disney but allegedly showed documents suggested he had income from the Disney company, investigators say.
