HOUSTON, May 6 (UPI) -- Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams has sued his former fiancee for the return of a $785,000, 10-carat diamond engagement ring, court documents said.
The suit against Erin Marzouki, in Houston, claims Williams bought her the ring and "additional luxurious items in excess of $230,000," and provided an American Express card on which Marzouki ran up a debt of more than $108,000 after their 2012 engagement.

Williams claims, in the suit, Marzouki broke off the engagement in January 2013, "a termination of the relationship solely caused by the defendant."
Williams seeks a restraining order and writ of sequestration so the ring will not be sold, and seeks other damages, Courthouse News Service reported Monday.
