WASHINGTON, April 18 (UPI) -- About 1.2 billion people in the world still face extreme poverty despite a big fall in the number of those living on less than $1.25 a day, the World Bank says.
In its study of extreme poverty, the Bank said Sub-Saharan Africa accounted for more than a third of the world's extreme poor.
