Man accused of impregnating 11-year-old

HOUSTON, March 20 (UPI) -- A Houston man has been jailed and charged with raping his 11-year-old neighbor over a seven-month period, resulting in her pregnancy, court records state.

Deandre Devon Davis-Williams, 21, was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child, the Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday.

Investigators allege Davis-Williams assaulted the girl almost daily from June to January while her mother was at work.

The criminal complaint says the girl told her mother of the sexual assaults after school officials informed the mother they suspected the girl was pregnant, and that Davis-Williams denied his involvement. It added the girl was seven months pregnant when she was taken to a doctor.
