Boy calls 911; dad and grandmother revived

NEW BRIGHTON, Pa., March 14 (UPI) -- A 10-year-old Pennsylvania boy made two 911 calls to report his heroin-using father and grandmother were unresponsive, said police, who charged the pair.

Chad Steven Kiser, 34, and his mother, Ginger Fay Foust, 52, were revived by medical personnel who found them passed out in their bathroom of their New Brighton apartment, The Beaver County Times in Beaver reported.

Both were using heroin, and were charged with endangering the welfare of a child, New Brighton Area police said.

Kiser and Foust were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, the newspaper reported, adding police found no food in the apartment, but discovered a pipe, scale, mirror and silver tube used to inhale controlled substances.

Beaver County Child and Youth Services was called to care for the unidentified child, the police report stated.
