Professor sentenced for child porn

GREENSBURG, Pa., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A former professor at Pennsylvania's Seton Hill University was sentenced to 15 years in prison for producing child pornography, a judge ruled.

Balazs Tarnai, 36, pleaded guilty Wednesday to ordering child pornography from a Los Angeles company and to recording four boys -- ages 5, 10, 12 and 13 -- while they used the bathroom at his Greensburg home, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported.

Police who searched Tarnai's home found on his computer thousands of images and videos of young boys engaged in sexual acts, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Lieber Smolar said.

U.S. District Judge David Cercone ordered Tarnai to serve 15 years in prison, then spend the rest of his life on probation.
