NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin's arraignment on bribery and conspiracy charges was rescheduled for three weeks after its original date, a judge ordered.
It was pushed back to Feb. 20 by order of U.S. District Judge Ginger Berrigan, to whom the case was assigned, from Jan. 31, a date immediately before the weekend New Orleans hosts the Super Bowl and its media attention, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported Thursday.
