Greene, a mother of five, is charged with felony murder and child abuse in the Dec. 30 death of her daughter, Tameria Greene, 8.

Greene has been accused of abuse against Tameria in the past, and had been set to stand trial on Jan. 29 for child neglect and abuse.

Attorney Cornelius Pitts requested that Greene only be evaluated for competency, not criminal responsibility.

Wagner granted that request.

The findings of the evaluation will be made public in court March 1.
