Man charged with raping young children

After the hearing in Middlesex County Superior Court, prosecutors filed allegations that Burbine not only sexually assaulted very young children but documented the rapes on video, the Globe said. In a nine-page statement of the charges, District Attorney Gerard Leone Jr. said at least one victim, identified only as Boy2, was molested not long after birth.

Burbine's wife, Marian, ran an unlicensed daycare center, Waterfall Education, and also offered overnight care in her home or at the child's. In the case of Boy2, his family expected Marian to take care of him and was surprised when her husband showed up, saying she was sick, investigators said.

Prosecutors said Burbine's computer held "images and movie files that depict BOY 2 in states of nudity and being sexually assaulted by the defendant. ... In one video, the defendant's face is clearly visible as he sexually assaults BOY 2.''

Marian Burbine has not been charged, but Leone said the investigation is not complete.

Prosecutors say Burbine raped some children and had others watch pornography on a laptop.

Burbine has been charged with more than 100 criminal counts, including rape of children.
