Autopsy: Sikh Temple shooter drug-free

MILWAUKEE, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Mass killer Wade Michael Page was not under the influence of drugs during his assault on a Wisconsin Sikh temple in August, an autopsy report said.

Seven people were shot and killed, including Page, in the invasion of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek, Wis., on Aug. 5.

The autopsy report released Wednesday by the Milwaukee County medical examiner's office, said he had been shot in the right side of his abdomen, and also had a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the back of his head.

The report itemized the tattoos Page had on his body, including the number "14" on his left shoulder, a reference to 14 words in the phrase: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children," notable for its popularity among white supremacists, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Wednesday.
