Police spokeswoman Anitra Highland said a party was taking place at Seminole Grand's clubhouse when the roof collapsed.

"Multiple people have sustained minor injuries. None are life-threatening," Highland said.

Tallahassee Fire Department spokesman Mike Bellamy said he received reports of "a large number" of people attending the party. He said the cause of the collapse is under investigation.

Seminole Grand was built in 1995 and is made up of nearly 40 buildings on 44 acres. The collapse caused about $250,000 worth of damage, Bellamy said.
