Kelly Rindfleisch, the defendant, is scheduled to go on trial next week on charges that she did political work on government time during the 2010 election. At the time, Walker was Milwaukee County executive and running for governor on the Republican ticket, while Rindfleisch was his deputy chief of staff.

Walker has also been listed as a potential witness at the trial of another former aide charged with embezzling from a fund to help veterans. He has not been charged with anything.
