Dispute may have sparked VFW shooting

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla., Oct. 3 (UPI) -- One of the men accused of fatally shooting three members of a Florida motorcycle club is a former leader in the organization, law enforcement reports said.

In addition, the reports reveal David "Tin Man" Maloney had ongoing disagreements with current members of the Seminole County Warlocks club, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Wednesday.

Maloney and at least four other members of the "Philly" Warlocks are accused of riding motorcycles into the parking of a VFW post Sunday and firing at Seminole County members gathered outside.

Florida police are holding Maloney, Paul Smith, Victor Amaro, Robert W. Eckert on homicide and attempted homicide charges.
