MIAMI, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Tropical Storm Leslie churned northward across the Atlantic Ocean Sunday night after delivering a glancing blow to Bermuda, U.S. forecasters said.
At 8 p.m. EDT, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said Leslie was about 190 miles east-northeast of Bermuda, sporting winds of 60 mph and moving briskly to the north at 14 mph. Tropical storm-force winds were reaching out up to 195 miles from Leslie's center with gusts as high as 47 mph reported on Bermuda, the hurricane center said.
