LEBANON, Ohio, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- An Ohio teenager pleaded guilty to his participation in a $3 million drug ring in Warren County Juvenile Court.
Tyler Pagenstecher, 17, on Tuesday pleaded guilty to two felony counts of drug trafficking, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Judge Michael Powell ordered Pagenstecher, who was not charged as an adult, to submit to random drug screenings and placed him on house arrest until his next court appearance on Sept. 18.
Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said Pagenstecher could be committed to the Ohio Department of Youth Services until he's 21.
Pagenstecher's charges came out of a yearlong investigation by the Warren County Drug Task Force to uncover people who authorities said grew high-grade hydroponic marijuana in buildings throughout the county.
The investigation led to the indictments of seven adults and the seizure of more than 600 marijuana plants with a street value of $3 million. No other arrests have been made.
