Mobster moll begins 8-year prison sentence

OKLAHOMA CITY, July 3 (UPI) -- Catherine Greig, companion to mobster James "Whitey" Bulger, awaited transfer in Oklahoma City Tuesday to serve an eight-year prison sentence.

Greig, 61, pleaded guilty in June to charges of harboring a fugitive, conspiracy and identity fraud for aiding Bulger, 82, hide from police for 16 years, the Boston Herald reported.

Bulger is expected to stand trial March 4 on charges of killing 19 people in Boston.
