LONG BEACH, Calif., June 22 (UPI) -- A victim of an alleged road rage incident captured on video was arrested on a warrant for a separate road rage incident in Long Beach, Calif., authorities said.
Jerry Patterson, 49, was arrested for failure to appear in court for allegedly assaulting a witness who trailed him after a May 25 hit-and-run in Long Beach, the Los Angeles Times reported. He faces charges of driving under the influence, non-injury hit-and-run and battery.

Patterson was the victim in a June 12 road rage incident where he allegedly was assaulted by Edras Ramirez, 27, and David Mendez, 21, on the side of a freeway. Ramirez and Mendez turned themselves in Wednesday and were held in Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles.
