CHICAGO, June 5 (UPI) -- A man suspected of raping and killing a woman in Chicago in 1998 while free on bond in an earlier rape case has been added to the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to Fidel Urbina's capture, the agency said Tuesday. Special Agent Pablo Araya of the Violent Crimes Task Force said investigators believe Urbina, a Mexican national, is hiding out there.
"Wherever he is, my guess is that women are in danger there, because this guy has shown no remorse and isn't likely to change his ways," Araya said. "That's why we need to catch him."
A federal arrest warrant was issued for Urbina in 1999 and a provisional arrest warrant in Mexico in 2006.
Urbina, 37, is 6 feet tall and weighed about 170 pounds when last seen. He has black hair, brown eyes and a pockmarked right cheek.
His known aliases include Lorenzo Maes, Fernando Ramos and Fidel Urbina Aquirre.

The FBI created the Most Wanted list in 1950. Since then, 466 of the 497 people who have appeared on it have been captured, 154 with help from the public.
