CLEVELAND, April 17 (UPI) -- U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich sent supporters in Washington state an e-mail asking them whether he should run for Congress there now that he's out in Ohio.

If Kucinich chooses to run for office in Washington state, he'd have until mid-May to relocate and could complete his current congressional term from Ohio even if he moves elsewhere, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported Monday.

Kucinich made several trips to Washington before deciding to run against Rep. Marcy Kaptur in the Ohio Democratic primary. His unsuccessful bid was prompted by the Republican-led Ohio Legislature drawing a district that pitted the two Democratic incumbents. Ohio lost two congressional seats because of a slow population growth.
