WHEATON, Ill., March 29 (UPI) -- An Illinois college professor accused of having child pornography has been indicted on five additional charges and his wife filed for divorce, officials said.

Donald Ratcliff, a Christian education professor at Wheaton College, now faces seven aggravated child pornography charges. He was arrested March 1, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Ratcliff's wife, Brenda, filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences," court documents show.

Ratcliff, who has been placed on administrative leave by college officials, allegedly has at least 500 pictures of children less than 13 years old on computer hard drives taken from his Carol Stream home, prosecutors said.

He is currently being held at the DuPage County Jail. Ratcliff, 60, faces a possible 49 years in jail if convicted on all charges.
