Kidnapped California boy found unharmed

IDYLLWILD, Calif., March 24 (UPI) -- A 5-year-old San Jacinto, Calif., boy was found unharmed the day after he was abducted by his father from a caregiver's house, police say.

Domenic Smith was taken by his father, Anthony Smith-Dixon, from a home where he was being cared for Thursday night. Domenic's mother had taken out a restraining order against Smith-Dixon, 25, because he may be a risk to her or the child. Police put out an Amber Alert for the boy.
