MORRISTOWN, N.J., March 21 (UPI) -- Twin brothers say they were sexually molested by two monks at a private Catholic school in New Jersey where their father was assistant headmaster.
Bill Crane Jr. and his brother, Tom, filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the Delbarton School in Morris Township and St. Mary's Abbey, The (Newark) Star-Ledger reported.
They charge they were both sexually abused by the Rev. Justin Caputo and the Rev. Luke Travers molested one of them.
Their father, Bill Crane Sr., taught at Delbarton for 42 years and lived on the campus with his family for two years.
"We were the luckiest kids on Earth," Tom Crane said. "The campus was our playground. We had full access to everything. But, unfortunately, the monks had full access to us."
Michael Critchley, a lawyer representing Caputo, said his client denies any wrongdoing. The school would not comment, saying it is still investigating the allegations.
