JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla., March 6 (UPI) -- A woman from Jacksonville Beach, Fla., has been arrested in Georgia on charges of trading sex with her 6-year-old daughter for drugs and money, police said.

Dalina J. Nicholas, 35, is being held on a child neglect warrant and will be extradited to Florida as early as next week, The (Jacksonville) Florida Times-Union reported Tuesday.

An investigation of Nicholas began in January after a homeless man told police her 6-year-old was being abused.

By interviewing the child, police learned details of sexual attacks by three men.

A Jacksonville man and a homeless man were charged last month with sexual battery in the case.

Spokesman John Harrell of the Florida Department of Children and Families said the 6-year-old has been through so much.

"These are terrible allegations that are of great concern to us and great concern to the community," Harrell said. The girl and a sibling are currently being cared for by Nicholas' parents.
