MADISON, Wis., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker won't dispute any recall signatures filed against him because his campaign did not have enough time to review them, officials said.

Walker was given a deadline of 5 p.m. Monday to file any challenges to the approximately 152,000 pages of petition signatures filed against him, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

The governor's campaign was granted a 20-day extension to review the signatures beyond the 10 days allowed under Wisconsin law by a Dane County judge, but a request for two more weeks was denied.

Campaign spokeswoman Ciara Matthews said the judge's denial made it impossible to review the petition signatures seeking Walker's recall.

"We were given an impossible timeline to review the signatures," Matthews said.
